Tamarindo lies southwest of the airport. The drive typically takes 1 to 1.5 hours via well-maintained roads.
Bus
You’ll need to walk or take a short taxi ride to the Liberia Municipal Bus Terminal or catch a bus from Guardia, a nearby stop on Route 212.
